Jörn Schulze-Hesselmann has extensive expertise in various areas in the sports, media and telecommunications sectors, including IT law, unfair competition law and media and broadcasting law. He brings entrepreneurial experience from his senior position as Head of Legal DACH at DAZN, a global sports broadcaster, and his work at Rocket Internet, one of Europe’s leading venture capital investors. He played a key role in DAZN’s acquisition of audiovisual media rights for the Bundesliga and the UEFA Champions League in Germany.
Jörn Schulze-Hesselmann has a wide-ranging experience in drafting and negotiating complex licensing and distribution agreements, antitrust law questions in connection with the acquisition and the distribution of audiovisual media rights, protecting audiovisual media rights and drafting general terms and conditions in the sports and media sector.
